Re: June 6th Session

Valery and Christopher, thanks for your feedback :bow

Valery...I got the Quark as a potential to DS the modded CR-150/DSII system, but so far I have been playing around with the Quark alone. I usually apply flats at capture, so these should be corrected.

Re: June 6th Session

The lower seeing number is preferred, and as you can see my seeing was pretty tough ;) The image posted is from the FireCapture plugin, not the standard SSM software...the displays are different despite trying to show the same information. I only posted this pic to show conditions but was not using ...

Re: Today's SUN (20190607) | ZWO ASI 290MC

Superb shots Pedro...well done :bow

I agree the 290 is a great camera for planets, I have the mono version and can put it on the C14 without any barlows and get the resolution I want. I don't use for solar often, but it seems to do a nice job on the LS80T with no barlows too.

Hi Stu...

I remember the configuration now that you posted it. I forgot how how long the completed assembly was, but it does produce excellent images.

June 6th Session

Hi everyone... A more seasonal day here this past Thursday, and I managed to get an hour or so to image before lunch. A few from June 2nd

Sunday started off like most days of the past 3 months here, overcast and threatening rain, but by mid morning the skies began to clear a bit and by noon it was a beautiful day with deep blue skies. I did a quick session early in the afternoon and was happy to find some proms and some features on th...
