no. a .5 focal reducer screwed onto the camera nosepiece will give you a lot more, especially if you alter the snout length, but probably not a full disk. The Quark is designed for high focal length use with small field of view. You can however go to your favorite Telescope outlet and purchase a Lun...

Hey guys, Why can't I upload a MPEG4 File. It is only 52 MB. It does not appear to work the same as the "the copy image address" we use for GIF's. The AstroBin link is fine but is simply tries to insert an image symbol when the address is pasted in. If you want to post some sort of video ...

there is absolutely zero need to do any live stacking. the live preview will be way more than enough especially if the capture software allows for you to use a false color like red instead of the gray to display.

Don’t worry because the sun is getting smaller and smaller on the sensor as the weeks go by so you will probably have a full disc come the end of May.

Like Mark says, this ain’t rocket science :). The Sun is very forgiving and there is so much light to work with, anything that shows a full disk on the chip will be spectacular to watch on a live preview monitor. Have you set up this gear already and made sure that it does indeed show the entire dis...

in a manner of speaking I guess you could say those ejected prominences “become” CME’s. I believe it would be more correct to state the active region or magnetic disturbance that caused the ejecting prominence may also cause a part of the corona to be ejected which is what a CME is.
