As I say, adding the red filter really made a huge difference, bringing up the contrast and making details really 'pop' . I'm wondering about adding a (dare I say it), Quark in place of the plain red filter.

Very nice FDs, Mark. I had a little more Sun and some periods of stable seeing here, but only by way of patches of blue between clouds scuttling across the Sun. No rain today... we had enough for the weekend yesterday!
