also i tried all the tags, but couldn't embed it from my website so i can host it without burning up server space, is there a good way to do that? youtube murdered the quality so i couldn't put it there, do i have to use certain sites?

yea the white light shots i was seeing crazy stillness, i honestly thought my program had frozen a few times because it was still with no turbulence. tracking has improved a lot since the 10 micron purchase, but the lack of turbulence was amazing, now i know how some of these people in high altitude...

oh i figured you'd have everyone's memorized by now :) its a sv102 raptor, similar in focal length to the lunt 100 depends, sometimes if seeing is good i'll use my 2x powermate for closeups, other times its just a crop. from looking at the resolution, i'm reasonably sure these were with a powermate.

same as last time, lunt 100 ds for ha, stellarvue with a baader wedge and lunt cak1800. mount is a 10 micron 1000hps, camera is asi1600 cooled, when not being lazy i use ssm too

Thanks, it's probably onlythe 6th picture I've ever taken of the Moon. As I thought about it more through the day I realized this is actually a pretty rare capture compared to a sun transit because the Moon isn't always full and it's also a moving target where is the sun is kind of a steady backdrop...

very rarely does a 2" diagonal work out for me solar viewing...from my experience, i bet if you put your 1.25 diagonal into the 120, you will be able to achieve focus.

thanks, here's the session from ssm, it was longer but crashed one time about half way through. the summer is brutal on seeing which is disappointing because it is always clear as can be. today i held out until it was hot enough i couldn't get on band anymore

i did use imppg to clear up the images but i'll look into the align stack these are 10 second videos every 30 seconds, converted to 1 frame using autostakkert, cleaned up using imppg, and then i used gimp to turn it into an animation. i'm not sure why it would be backwards, i imported them in the co...
