Overvoltage?I suspected the issue was caused by an electrical short, damaging the board and not the sensor.

Sorry to disappoint you. The H-alpha is still a Mosaic and the White light is the 533. The 533 gives me a higher resolution in White light.

I second what Mark says. If the orientation of the Sun is not as you like, rotate the as Mark said and you will have the correct Sun orientation or rotate the telescope in the rings if possible.
The flat camera side does not need to be parallel to the diagonal wall.
