Re: Pathway to spring

Thanks Brian.

It actually started freezing again today (April weather over here for you  ). So the blossoms will probably take a bit longer still.

Re: Pathway to spring

Thanks Rainer/Alexandra.

Quite fortunate that I can at least do that indeed. It's slowly progressing; I'm patiently waiting for the fruit trees to start blossoming (huge orchards in the area).

Pathway to spring

Looks like spring is slowly starting to colour up things a bit around here (the brown'ish winter shades get old fast). PS: the sky in there should give you an indication of why there's no solar stuff from me at the minute :) https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51104502833_d493c1ce50_o.jpg Pathway to...

Re: IS MY PRESSER TUNER OK

Hi Peter As Terry already indicated, the temperature shouldn't be an issue here. So if I understand correctly, you basically get a blank disk (no detail whatsoever) showing up on the screen? If you have a screen capture available to share, that might help. I'm going to assume that focus, exposure et...

Nice set of images, Brian. Good to see that you got a decent session in.

The vaccination story is a right mess over here as well (all thoughout mainland Europe really). Fingers crossed for better times to come.

Nice shots, Mark.

Will be interesting to see what you manage to squueze out of that TS CaK with a bit of tinkering (that's the fun part).

Re: More local wildlife

Thanks Franco. I live in the northeastern part of Belgium (place called Heusden-Zolder in case your're curious). I'm fortunate enough to have a lot of nature (and hence wildlife) pretty close to home (although Belgium as a whole is pretty small to begin with :D ). Lots of green within walking distan...

Re: More local wildlife

Thanks Alexandra.

Very interesting! I had no idea about that either (I've only ever seen them with the grey head and white stripe). Apparently (quick Google :) ), the Motacilla flavissima does exist over here, but is very rare.

Our reflected friend is a white mallard indeed.
