Good shots, I've really like the camera so far, its quite versatile with the larger sensor, ability to use really small pixels, or to use a small ROI with larger pixels and a telecentric and still get pretty decent frame rates.

Thanks all! And ya, when there aren't any clouds, Maui skies can be excellent. Its trying to find a long enough break in the low level clouds to be able to get a good timelapse that ends up being the struggle. No place is perfect I guess, lol.

Great detail, especially in the 2nd image! A C8 seems to be that optimal balance of fine detail and portability, as the c11 and above require much heavier mounts, lol.

Low clouds finally held off enough to be able to get out and get an animation in. Great images, and love the animation! I think that is the longest spanning time lapse I've seen on here yet. Amazing to me how some proms like this one seem to move at a snail's pace and benefit from many hours of capture, and then others move at warp speed even over just 15-20 minutes. Well done!

Massive props to those that learn and then take the time to do these mosaics! I gave up and went the large chipped camera route to be able to do full disc captures, but I'm always impressed when people can put these together like you've done. Bien hecho!

That is a cool comparison on the sampling. I've read many times about over and under sampling but never seen a good side by side example of it, thanks for that!
