I especially like the HA mosaics.
With Ha etalons there doesn’t seem to be quality guaranteed no matter how much you spend. My Solar Spectrum RG isn’t very uniform.

Is my blocking filter vignetting? My understanding of how this works is not great. So I have a 50 mm Lunt mod that I use on a couple of different telescopes. I feel, Valery, that no one here disputes the theoretical fact that the angular resolution increases with the diameter of the mirror. I agree that a 200-250mm would have a greater market. I do have an interest though. And it seems that continuum and Ha would be more realistic to make use of such a scope. Getting consistent solar seeing of < .3 arc” to properly use the scope for Ca K is in reality a rarity on the planet. In answer ...

Those are some very nice images. Well done. As far as the origin of prominences, prominences can originate from active areas, but they can also originate from quiescent areas (Quiescent prominence). The magnetic field lines that support prominences are all over the place, not just extending from act...

This is a wonderful animation. Like you said, there is so much going on.
What I find just as interesting as some of the dynamics is how stable certain structures are over time.
