Re: New version of ImPPG

Thanks, I have Windows 7.

I will try and download again tonight. I did it at the same time that I messed up FlyCapture and had to do a system restore. Maybe this has affected it somehow.

Seeing seemed OK at 1 to 1.5 all morning. I tried the 3x Barlow but couldn't get any focus at all. If you change your f...

Re: Grasshopper 3 / Flycapture / Firecapture woes

Not much luck yet, been waiting for a week and half for return instructions and after 3 e-mails still no joy. I am beginning to lose hope :(

New version of ImPPG

I downloaded the new version of ImPPG but all the buttons at the top are black? I have to hover over them to read which button is which. Is this a bug?

Fantastic DSLR shots :bow :hamster:

We have cloud because the Sun has an AR on it, it will be sunny again when the Sun has no spots on it. That is the general rule in the UK :(

Re: Solar FLAT for FULL Disc only - cannot seem to be able to use it

The only sensible way of getting a more even image of a full solar disc is the drift method. During acquisition let the Sun gradually drift across the sensor. Then when you stack in Autostakkert the stacking will remove any anomalies. No need for a flat. If you have a lot of dust bunnies then clean ...
