I think I bought the SeeStar a bit late as we are starting to rapidly lose darkness here in the UK now. It will be end of August before it gets properly dark after May.

I know what you mean about temperature though, my Solarscope is exactly the same and needs to be warm and cosy to work properly, the hotter the better.
