Re: Daystar: QUARK the first Hydrogen Alpha "Eyepiece" ?

Hi Valery thank you very much. I should be able to do that, having some 10 scopes. But as you can see..... I'll never ever buy astro stuff again in spring neverever.jpg This rule does not work in my area! Always, when I buy or make new astro gear, the weather is just as good as according a season. ...

Re: PST etalon (or similar) in a telecentric beam

Edmunds has some useful stuff. The video is interesting, just wish it didn't have the annoying music in the background. Will be ordering the TZ4 next week, so that should herald weeks of cloud and rain, but as soon as the weather gods have forgotten something astronomical I will report back on how ...

Re: Daystar: QUARK the first Hydrogen Alpha "Eyepiece" ?

Hi Chaps good news. My Quarks have been shipped. No wonder it is snowing :-( Good news! The snow can't lasts too long now. Walter, it is VERY IMPORTANT to test your Quark with different F/D telescopes and estimate the band wide wit each F/D of the telescope. The narrowest band wide will be with slo...

Thanks to Mark.
This will be my next CCD telecamera for solar, lunar and planetary works. After this, I believe, the EM CCD telecameras become affordable in their lower price segment.

The kit is: 1. First component is a collimation element (three lenses - all are cemented). In the mechan...
