Yesterday I tried using a 3x Barlow on my 60mm lunt Single stacked telescope for an interesting looking prominence. Today's sky was clear and steady here in Brisbane, so I tried imaging a few Prominence's for animations. The first two I tried were quite static. Thanks everyone for your encouragement , I've attempted a few more animations but the seeing has not been too great. The skies have been clear but there has been a lot of turbulence in the atmosphere . Down here in Brisbane.

Mark, I used Irfan View and batch processed 72 frames, then used Gimp to blacken out the disc.

Here's my latest solar animation .A 1 hour time lapse animation, imaged on Easter Sunday with My Lunt 60mm single stacked solar telescope.This time In processing I blacked out the disc to highlight the prominence features.

Great Animation Paul, could you tell me what your intervals between exposures were and the final file size you uploaded to Vimeo. I've been doing animations but they are nothing like your excellent results.

Thank you all for your comments. I'm waiting for our Aussie Dollar to recover so I can get myself a Cak module, I got stung real bad on exchange rates when I bought my autoguider. It was worth it though.
