Welcome back Matty. I was going to suggest the Lunt 100.I am just dusting mine off after a long layoff.It really is alovely scope for visual especially for proms.I have also found Lunt very good in there back up too.

Got a 35mm Canon RF lens so tried it out this morning on the Sunrise.Also a single Milky Way pick 15s @ f1.8; ISO 6400. Note other picks in collage with a 14mm lens.

Thanks.Rainer that hue is due to the canon Ra being in Cloudy White balance .Due to its greater Ha sensitivity it does weird things in early morning and late afternoon light.I could correct it but I like the effect.

Boring I highly doubt it.That is a very informative post and goes to show that with Solar it’s an ongoing experiment.Interesting that f seems to me to lie somewhere between a and c .It will be good to see what the DS unit achieves with each of these setting. A lot of configurations but worth it.
