Your experience matched mine exactly Stu..................... just a large enough gap in the grey grot to capture a few images
The gap closed before I could take a look in Calcium K or white light so... nice to see you managed at least 2 'lights'

Re: A little 'spurt prom' as a goodbye from AS12683
Cheers Mark. It was 'touch and go' with a few missed captures. One of those 'right time, right place' events where the 20 minutes of intermittent sunshine coincided with the little surge prom doing its stuff. I'm still amazed how well the Lyra 152 with its full aperture ERF works in really pretty po...

Thanks for the kind words guys. Eric; Stu (Carbon60) did all of the hard work designing and developing the magnetometer I use. If you are interested, the whole story of how it was built, tested and developed is told in the following SolarChat topic: https://solarchatforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t...

Fishing in tiny cracks between the clouds
Pretty dire conditions yesterday but managed a few minutes 'fishing in the hazy cracks between the clouds' in the afternoon. Good stuff Stu. I had very much the same experience yesterday with Ha being very difficult and CaK not much better!
