HI Dennis,

Why are you using the sharpened feature in AS3? You are paying so much attention to detail in terms of the telecentrics and the f number the etalon see's etc but the sharpened function in As3 allows absolutely no control over outcome.

Thanks for the report JAmes, glad you got a viewing in and glad the sun is nice and busy again. I managed to get the quickest of full disks yesterday, and typically in the early evening when we had prior engagements it cleared up. Went out on an 'over nighter' on a test run last week with my pals after doing a few hours maintenance - new alternator, some new rubber hoses. It was fun! You'll have a lot of fun with your kayak!
