Quark and suitable scope

I have my Quark mounted on a TS 50mm Doublet APO Refractor 50/330mm f/6.6 - Day/Night Scope and I'm getting awesome full disc views with 40mm eyepiece. I'm wanting to increase the aperture to 80mm and thinking this scope (below) would work, it's 80/400 F5 but unsure if I will still get a full disc. ...

Ok I added a 2" extension tube between the scope and the Quark and yippee skippy I got focus.

I will have to make a support bracket to support diagonal end, but that's no biggie.

Ok finally found the original 1.25" adapter and installed, I'll give it a run in the morning also found two 25mm extension tubes, fingers crossed I can get focus.

Just an update on my SM90 it's 14 months now since I purchased it and it was returned to Meade for a second time to be fixed and this time they've had it since mid November and that's it,,,,,,nothing nada zip.

Help please

Can someone hold my hand and leed me to a link on stage 1 and stage 2 PST mod, I have a Bresser 100/1000 donor scope.

I know that Ken "Merlin66" will be helping me with the mod like he is helping me with a few other things at the moment but I would like to read up on the mods.

Mark I don't have a 50mm etalon but I have a SM90 being repaired for the second time and if I ever get it back in a working condition I will try the Quark on the back of it, until then I will just use the Quark on the 50/330.

Well my SM90 is on its way back to Meade to be repaired again, I'm over $700 in postage now since I purchased it nearly 1 year ago.

Meade has replied and will accept it back to fix for a second time so I'm waiting for what they call a RAN then Ken will send it back to be repaired again.
Meanwhile I'm well over $500 in postage, but It's my fault for not buying a Lunt.

My SM90 is back in Australia.

My SM90 has arrived back in Australia after being sent back to Meade for warranty, it is in customs at present and hopefully we can get it out without any costs.

It will then go back to Ken (Merlin66) in Melbourne to test it then he will send it back to me in Townsville.

I spoke to Sean at Daystar and he said to send it back and they will fix it and also the 1.25" barrel is super tight in my diagonal so they will fix that and check it for any banding issues, so it's going to the post office this arve.

I see quite often photos posted here that have been taken with a double stack Quark but having asked the question a thousand times I can't get an answer as to how do you double stack a Quark.
