Re: Detailed solar spectrum wanted
Ok, I see. Probably the iradiance (ASTM) is more usefull for this. This is the data I used to calculate the amount of energy transmitted by various ERF configurations. On the other hand, in order to calculate the contrast (or selectivity) of a SS, DS, TS combination, I used the BAS2000 solar spectru...

Re: Detailed solar spectrum wanted
For solar irradiance, it might be better to use this :
https://www.nrel.gov/grid/solar-resource/spectra.html
It is given for sea-level (1.5 airmass), and also on top of Earth atmosphere.
This is the source for the graph you gave.
But it all depends on what you need exactly.

Thanks of your views guys. Sometimes changing the USB cable helps. I have a quality USB3 cable with which all cameras work at maximum FPS, except IMX533. Re: speed issue with ASI462 MM camera
I have the ASI462 MC and I can get a steady 128fps in firecapture 2.7 (usb traffic is set to 96) so the MM should have the same sort of performance. If I switch off high speed mode it drops to 77fps so maybe it is a driver issue ? This could be a driver issue. The camera is "new" in the s...

The G-band has the edge for granulation and faculae details. The OIII is very nice for umbral dots and light bridges.

- How many frames do you stack ?
- Are you using a color filter in addition to the Astrosolar ND3.8 ?
In any case, the solar wedge would be a huge step forward.

If you can, try a version showing the motion of the umbral dots (= within the umbra of the spots). Just increase the brightness of the images.
