Replacement I.T.F. Filters.

Post by Sungazer »

Hi All, Being new to this forum, and being a Solar observer for very many years, I had a filter problem with my PST, namely the ITF. After much searching I have found a manufacturer in USA ,called Maier Photonics Inc. They supplied a replacement unit for my PST, after fitting this ,the scope performed as good as when new 4 years ago. The cost, was in my opinion, very reasonable at £52. This saved having to try a PST mod, though I now have for sale an 63mm ERF and a Lunt B400 blocking filter see Astrobuysell for details.
