just take a firm ware update and it's gone. Pointgrey was very helpful and fast in resolving that little issue

I have had this a few times when I have tried to use a slightly longer usb cable and once with the original cable but on an older, slower laptop.
Must try the firmware update - always hold my breath in case the upgrade fails and I am left with a dead camera :roll:

my software update was easy and fast. I don't think you are getting into troubles. But if, then don't blame me ;) , just contact pointgrey, the after sale service is great.
