livestreaming

Post by tmwellington »

Does anyone know how to livestream the Sun from a usb camera like the Grasshopper 3?

I don't know how to make the camera seen by either Ustream or Livestream.

Thanks!

Never tried it on either of those, but in Google+ I just live stream the desktop where my capture software is running. Software like Manycam and webcammax can make your desktop appear as a camera.

This website explains in detail how one respected observer generates a live solar broadcast:

Look for 'Broadcasting near live' in the second yellow table on the home page.

I run the camera view software then capture that screen area with webcam max for streaming on Night Skies Network.
