DMK 41 software

Post by photon hunter »

I am looking for software to control the DMK 41 in the following manner. I would like to create time laps videos of solar activity by capturing say 40-60 frames at specified intervals and then process each group of 40-60 frames to make a single frame to build the time laps sequence. Being able to program (specify) the number of frames and specify the interval between each group of frames is what I am looking for.
Suggestions??
Thanks

Hi there, use firecapture software to control the DMK and then autostakkert to stack the frames in batches, both are freeware.

Thank you Mark,
I will pursue your suggestions.

BTW, I just looked at your solar pictures-very nice. Where did you get the 'earth' image you used to show the comparison between earth size and the solar activity?

Hi Burton, I just googled it and then scaled to the right image size.

Thanks-I guess my dumb question is how did you know/determine the 'right size?
