New Point Grey Pricing!

Post by Astrograph »

Despite exchange rate fluctuations Point Grey have just reduced prices across their whole range and biased pricing to the Euro. This means that we can now offer Point Grey cameras for significantly LESS than you can buy one for direct from across the pond.

PGR cameras supplied direct by PGR are camera only. As the only Astronomy outlet specialising in Point Grey we supply cameras with all Drivers / Software, a PC to Camera cable (either Ethernet or USB), a GPIO power cable (GigE only) and now the excellent Genika Astro image capture software (normally 70€) as part of the package.

The new prices are significantly lower, for example

Our old price for the Grasshopper USB3 package with IMX174 was £849. PGR's direct US price for camera only is approx £749 (with UK VAT) plus shipping, import duty etc. Our new price including Genika is only £659 shipped free!

Our old price for the Blackfly USB3 with IMX249 package was £459. PGR's direct US price for camera only is approx £385 (with UK VAT) plus shipping, import duty etc. Our new price including Genika is only £369 shipped free!

Get the best for much less!!

You're making my wallet twitch for the GH3. I can see a conversation with the financial controller coming along ;)

Stop, there's more......

Now available is the new Grasshopper 3 with IMX252 sensor. This is the same Pregius technology as the IMX174/249 but with smaller 3.45µ pixels on a 1/1.8" chip (2048x1536) running up to 121FPS. It will be perfect for systems with smaller objectives / less focal length. Its £649.

See EMVA1288 test.
