Hi Folks
I was wondering if anyone could give me an indication of what you would
be likely to see with say a 6mm filter .... having owned a PST Cak in the past
I recall the view was very dull .... they were imaging only devices.
I did once briefly see a bright Cak image (which wasn't safe to view) I cant recall
exactly how I managed it but it involved a H Wedge and the Baader Cak filter.

Re: Lunt Cak filters
I would suggest the view will probably be very similar to what you saw with the CaK PST

Re: Lunt Cak filters
What you see will be the same as the CaK PST but about 100x brighter. I could just about make out a faint purple blob in my CaK PST but not detail, through the Lunt both myself and my hubby can see exactly what you see in images shown here. It is just like looking through a hydrogen alpha filter in terms of what you can see only purple/violet. Of course some people do not have the ability to see below 400nm so it does depend on your age/genetics
