For any user of an older PST....
You have probably found the weakness in the tuning ring which is prone to splitting and cracking.
After many efforts (including Meade US) I finally had success!
Tasco Australia managed to import replacement rubber rings and for the princely sum of $10 delivered my PST looks as good as ever.
If you need a replacement ring contact Adriano Massatani, at Tasco Australia, Sydney. ([email protected]) and mention my name Ken Harrison.
(It may be possible to embarrass a local Meade distributor into doing the same for you....)

I believe that this will be horribly expensive to order it from Australia to Europe!

Valery,
Use my experience to pressure your local Meade agent to do the same.

Ken,
We do not have any Meade dealer in my country. Only in Russia, where Meade dealer absolutely don't listen to amateurs.
