1. What is this guy using on his PST? Is it a zoom lens?
It looks huge. Do all zoom's look that big?

It looks like a Baader Planetarium 8-24mm Hyperion Clickstop Zoom Mark III.

T'is indeed a Baader zoom, some pictures further in using it, very good pictures too.

yes, its a baader zoom like people have said. Defo the way forward. Personally I use a 6.5-19.5mm pentax zoom. I think at 24mm the mag is a little low on the pst, but if you can get a 8-24mm at good price don't let it put you off

I use a Seben 8-24 zoom on all my solar telescopes, it gives good results at F10 and costs just under £50.

I also use the Seben. I like it, its a good workhorse EP for a reasonable price.
