Couple of Taks for Solar plus SM60/BF15 and Grasshopper3

Post by gbealnz » Tue Mar 25, 2014 8:37 pm

Looking to sell off the following.
All have been used for solar Ha, with good success.

1. FS60C

It has clamshell, 6x30 finder, 10:1 Micro focuser, prime focus adaptor, and
flattener, all Tak items.
Additionally I have self-made (non-anodized) adaptors to fit an SM60
etalon to the front end, and a 2" Feather Touch to the rear end.

2. FS78
SoCal tube rings.
Tak 7x50 finder and stalk.
Additionally I have adaptors to fit an SM60 etalon to the front end,
and a 2" Feather Touch to the rear end.

3. Meade/Coronado SM60 Richview Etalon, and BF15 filter, all in the
original case, and outer box. Bought new about 12 months ago.
Perfect condition.

4. GrassHopper3 camera.

So, you can mix and match the various items. I have used the SM60 on both the FS60, and the FS78, both are stunning for white light and Ha solar. I also use them for DSO imaging, equally great.
E mail me at g.beal (at) xnet.co.nz for further info and or images taken with these items.

Hi All.
Had an inquiry about some of this stuff.
All is sold, except the Grasshopper 3, which I have been using.
I'm in discussions with someone about this camera at the moment.

Thank you Walter, and apologies for not checking in earlier.
I have all but decided to retain the Grasshopper, it is very nice.
I will sell the Flea2.
Gary
