[FS] Point Grey Grasshopper Express with ICX674 chip (2.8MP)

Post by Pablito »

Just testing the water...

I am thinking about selling great solar cemera - PTGrey Grasshopper Express with very sensitiv chip in h-alpha. QE in 656nm is ca. 70%!!! ICX674 is a 2/3" size chip with 2.8MPx resolution with 26fps speed at full frame.
It's FireWire 9pin version. In the set I have ExpressCard34 and two quality FW cables (1m + 4m).

I invested too much is solar gear and my wife starts asking "where is the money" :)

My price would be 1300USD (or equivalent in EUR) shipped in EU. ExpressCard34 and cables included.

Hi Pawel

I would like to support your wife ;). What is needed as a sort of laptop. I have an older ASUS. What sort of slot / interface is needed?

ExpressCard or PCMCIA. There are FW adapters for those slots on the market.

What Asus model do you have?

Hi Pawel

thank you very much. I do not know, have to look it up and will report. The labtop has no big slots for an adapter
