Re: POINT GREY Grasshopper GRAS-50S5M-C 5MP MONO NEW UN-OPEN
these are the cameras that I use for the imaging/live preview, handicapped access portion of the outreach program. Im pretty sure Im the only person left that uses firewire cameras on a Mac other than Alan Friedman and I would very much like to add this to my outreach offering.
However, I am spending donors money on these things so if you are interested in making a philanthropic donation in exchange for 30 chances to win the massive scope we are giving away during our yearly fundraiser, that would be great!
Or, if you have any sort of combo donation, cash price I would love to use it to teach students. I also have a PGR color Blackfly, a color Celestron Nexstar, a Black and white Celestron Nexstar and a PGR Flea II color that I would swap for the Grasshopper.
In other words, I could really use the Grasshopper in the outreach program that runs this site and the several others on Facebook and Google+ but I can't spend $1500 of donor money on it.
