I checked with Christian on this; here's his reply:

"The work of the book is advancing at a slow pace for a number of reasons. I think we will have it ready by the end of the first semester of 2020... We have included a lot of new stuff compared to the French version."

Brilliant, can't wait to see the English version, my French is less than perfect, lol.

I had an update from Christian a couple of weeks ago. Everything is delayed due to the big C word. He wasn't making any promises but I have my fingers crossed for December

I've been savoring the french version; great book! It pretty much covers everything there is to know about the sun from A to Z (image acquisition/processing included). I hope the English version will be available soon so that forum members can enjoy it too—a lot to absorb.

Yeah, still awaiting the English version, my French isn't that good to read through the whole book in French I'd lose something in my translation.

Hello,
We are now in the final run. We expect to have the book ready by May.
It includes many additions compared to the original French version. It is now about 500 pages.
We also have some new contributors who are well known on Solar Chat :-)
