Is the objective from Istar? Is it one of their lenses specifically used for h-alpha?
Telescope still available?

Alessandro,
What a magnificent instrument. I am certainly impressed. It makes my Coronado SolarMax II 60 look very much like a beginners instrument. The resolution and image scale of your pictures are incredible. Among the best I have seen outside of a professional solar observatory. I hope you have been able to find a way to keep it and not have to sell it. I certainly would love to see more future work of yours using this instrument.
Is the objective lens an achromat or a singlet lens? Ha solar uses such a narrow band that a well figured singlet should work fine. Chromatic aberration shouldn't be an issue. But for full spectrum nighttime viewing that would be a big issue. Without being at least achromatic, chromatic aberration would be horrible.
I think only Lunt sells solar scopes commercially in sizes comparable to this. I think by special order only. They have a 230mm and a truss 300mm.

Hi James.
The objective lens is an acromatic.
I'd like to keep it but I'm using it rarely and this is a pity.

Alessandro,
It is really an awesome and unique instrument. Is the reason you don't use it much because of it's size? Many people will use a small grab-and-go scope far more than a big instrument. My smaller scopes certainly see more use than my bigger ones. A fixed permanent observatory will often remedy this though. I just wish I had the cash to go that route.

The ota is about 1,90 mt long and is weight is about 22 kilos
I'd like have an other roll off observatory (I've one in which there is a C14HD edge & 10Micron GM2000 HPSII) but it isn't possible because of my future wife

Hi Alessandro, I would like to buy a larger refractor for sun observation. Yours is very nice. I would like to buy it. I sent you an email a few days ago via the solarchatforum site, I guess it wasn't delivered. Maybe a technical error. Please, if your solar refractor is still for sale, reply to me here in the forum or to my email:
[email protected]
Thank you, best regards, Robert

Robert, I'd try a PM and email again from the site. It might not have gone the first time as you have to have post approval for the first 2 posts to check you are genuine. So I am not sure the PM or email would work until you are approved (not sure).
