Hi Colin
I still have the "blind chicken", a daystar T-scanner 0,7 A serial # TS-689. If your offer is reasonable who know where it goes

Re: Wanted! Dead etalons.
I do have half of an unpolished etalon with a big chip in it if you want it Colin. I was gonna put a hole in it and make a necklace at some point. Thats the only extra one I have at the moment.
I know not everyone can do this but if i have something laying around that I don't use I try my best just to give it to someone who can use it. That's sort of what funds the Jon Wood Award...

Walter,
That is a very special artifact you have. Let me know what I need to pay for it at colin at designerinlight dot com.
It is your posts about this that made me post about etalons.

Stephen,
I promise to publish anything I learn from a broken etalon.

Re: Wanted! Dead etalons.
I found a dead solid etalon and a dead airspaced etalon. It will take me a few months to sort out what I have and what I can do to repair them. While I am still interested in finding dead etalons my budget now needs to focus on building a small assembly area.
