I'm after the 2.8MP Pt Grey Grasshopper Express in color if anyone has one for sale.
I have a grasshopper 2 mono that I could trade as well.

Re: WANTED: Grasshopper Express OSC
Yep. I need it for other work, not for solar use.
I do free work for a film preservation society and will use the camera to transfer old 8mm and 16mm film to digital.

The mono G2 specs are here:
http://www.ptgrey.com/products/grasshop ... asheet.pdf
30fps @ 1384 x 1036 pixels
Faster with a ROI
2/3inch Sony ICX285 sensor with fantastic dynamic range.
Really great solar performer, is lightweight and tiny (think box of matches) so is easy to mount and was a great match for my Lunt 60.
Cons, I don't know really, it is FireWire, which not all computers have I guess, but I can supply a card.
Um other than that, I can't think of any cons except that they cost two grand new which is a lot of $$.
I wouldn't be selling it if I hadn't been roped into this other project, but it is one of those friends that you just can't say no to, so my gear has to go.

Hi Peter
thank you very much. Firewire is a no go to me and I would like to have smaller pixel, but it is a fine instrument
