Yeah! exactly what I had on the iPad....
You need to dump the cached pages and reboot.

Valery et al,
The problem goes away when you clear the cache on your PC/ iPad.
Have you done this???

I had the same, cleared the internet cache and all is good again now :)

Yup! that's why Stephen says in the red message 'clear your browser cache' however it took a couple of goes for mine to fully clear. So if it doesn't work the first time do it a second :)

Whenever you visit any web site, your computer searches your cache for a "cookie" which stores portions of saved copies of the page so it will load faster. These saved versions are using the previous version of PHPBB so when you load them, they cannot interact properly with the current version which is on this server.
Emptying your cache forces your browser to reload the entire page from this end instead of from your end and saves a new version.
