April 06 2021 - Something different!
Something a little different! The ISS passing in front of the sun in white light and a bonus prom shot for good measures!
Quick story, I actually forgot the counterweight and shaft so i had to mount the scope and support the weight of the Esprit 150 and the EQ8RH head.
If you want a giggle, you can watch the shakey footage here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CNV68GZpwOH/

All of these are impressive, Simon! The ISS is really sharp against the solar disc. I also like the color you have chosen for the bottom image.

That's really quite excellent Simon, especially when you watch the instagram video. I've got an ISS transit on sunday afternoon I want to have a go at if the weather allows - forecast is good at the moment!

Amazing achievement and photos Simon!!!
Can you please share the camera and frame rate that you used?
Also the colours are very unusual and beautiful. Can you please explain how you made them? You first inverted them and then?
All the best,
Alexandros
