Some Highbury, London birds
I have no experience whatsoever as a photographer. Though I do love birds, so I recently bought a Sony RX10III bridge camera to start capturing some of the birds in my garden and local area. These are the very first efforts.Including one of the (infamous) ring necked parakeets which are now widespread across London.

Hi Mark
Avid bird/wildlife photographer myself.
Nice set of images to get you started there. Weather permitting; it's a very fun and rewarding hobby to be engaged in.

Thanks Jochen - I can see that birds in flight are going to be a big challenge......

Lovely pictures, Mark, and a great start ! I love taking bird pictures too, it is very rewarding. I got a Nikon P900 with a zoom and it is ideal for birding.

Ahh!! what a pleasure to see these gorgeous creatures and look how they take advantage of sunlight and split the colours using their feather structure into all the colours of the rainbow to make themselves look pretty. Amazing!!
