Sol from the first of June.

Post by eroel »

Hello:
After many days with just rain all day and night, finally today it shined through high haze and low dark clouds that were passing rapidly in front of the sun.
I just had time for a set with the Coronado 90 and I did not keep on due to the difficulty in recording the endless pass of dark clouds, you could not even see the image at the monitor sliding the gain up.
So I changed to the 102mm Stellarvue at f/28 and the T-scanner Daystar filter, during a bigger hole in the dark clouds, though the haze kept on making difficult to adjust and to focus, but happened to take a few avi streams with not much hope due to the clouds again.
Anyway I did some dirty processing (quick and without taking care much of the result), because my wife started calling me to get ready to go to a Sunday lunch invitation. Does this sound familiar? :D
Thanks for looking.
Send my best regards to all.
Eric.

Chris, Walter, Mark, Ralph, Stu, JP, Derek, Alexandra and John:
Appreciate the nice comments, but somehow the bad seeing made me over process the images, mostly the ones that show "surface" in H-alpha.
Also forgot to calibrate my home´s PC monitor and that also takes a toll, sometimes we forget that important issue.
Send my best regards,
Eric.
