Well, some jerk got through the extensive spamming preventions I have on our forum. These walls also make it less convenient for us to use the forum for its intended purpose by making me block certain file types, have a long procedurre for creating an account, etc... I am not sure what prompts someone to spam a forum like this one with Nike shoe ads or penis pills or porn sites or whatever. I guess it is because people keep clicking these stupid ads and make it worth their while.
Anyway, thanks to Merlin (I guess) for deleting this stupid spam before I got here. I sent a scathing email to what is probably a spambot address anyway [email protected] . Sickening really. all this work that has to be done to prevent these lowlife scumbags from polluting our safe environment.
Feel free to send your comments too.

Yeah,
Stephen, I had the opportunity and took it before you ended up with 60 messages in each of the sections!
I honestly don't know how they manage to get into some of the forums!
(I've been unable to register for a spectroscopic group as everytime they open the portal for registration it's flooded with spam.)

personally I wouldn't response to any spam email address, it just gives them a live email address to circulate to all the other gutter spam merchants
