Thank you note

Post by Bill E. »

I lent a LS60 to a teacher friend.I also gave him solar glasses for students. Here is a note sent to my local astronomy club. B)

To everyone at the Astra club,

Just wanted to say a special thank you to Mr. Bob Salvatore for bringing us the wonderful solar telescope. Having the opportunity to be able to actually look at the Sun and to see the solar flares was a real thrill and all of the students had a great time. I know that it was specifically Bill (sorry don't know his last name) who was gracious enough to lend out this very valuable piece of equipment and it says a great deal about someone who is willing to do such a thing. Thanks Bill I hope one day to meet you say thanks in person.

Once again thanks to all and Mr. Salvatore your enthusiasm for our place in the Universe is infectious. We look forward to more great programs like this!

All the best,
Rabbi Ronnie Malavsky

PS Much thanks as well to the Charlie Bates organization for the solar viewing glasses. What a great additional addition to a wonderful learning experience.
