Hi all here is my first post on this awsome site.lol It was aken in August while i was awy in Wales in the uk. It is one of my best shots to date. it was taken with a Solarmax II 90 and a Atik 314L+ camera.

a breathtaking photo! Good ole' AR1302 with the lil eyebrows and the super cool lightbridge over the small spot. The contrast here is amazing..!

Only stardust in the wind, some fine and some less fine scopes, filters and adapters as well. Switzerland 47 N, 9 E, in the heart of EUROPE :)

from 7 am - 7 pm http://www.nanosys.ch

from 7.01 pm - 6.59 am http://www.wastronomiko.com some times vice versa ;)

Superb!! it looks 3D and the detail around the AR is amazing with the wispy filament, great stuff, I look forward to lots more.

Great filaments details! Ive read recently that the thin filaments in AR regions demark the boundries of opposite magnetic polarities. Isnt this cool?!
