These images were shot about 14 hours after Peter Desypris's excellent image of the same prominence. Significant reduction of plasma above the limb. Particularly interesting is the well formed, twisted vertical portion at right. In Mark Townley's image this portion extends onto the disk. Seeing was poor here, but when I could clearly glimpse the prominence, there were numerous twisting thread like structures throughout. A very tortured looking prominence....on its last leg....
