Trying again

Post by telescopemaker »

Hmm… I lost my last post, so this will be short. I have relocated to Florida permanently, semi-retired. I now live in a village of astronomers - there are about a dozen of us here.

This is my first Ha shot from my 10 acre front yard. I'll be able to do more than just solar and planetary imaging here- this is dark sky country.

My next door neighbor just bought a 152 Lunt double stack, he's new to solar but not to imaging. We're working out the issues with his equipment, should be exciting once we get it up!

Very good images, nice to live in a dark and sunny place (Florida).
Best regards,

Robert,

Could you please elaborate on your community a bit? There are one or two similar spots in Arizona my wife and I have discussed a bit regarding retirement. I don't know if I could manage the FL humidity!
