Evening all, Early image as going to set up outreach for International SunDay and Solstice..
Which was a superb day despite the wind and clouds, but must have had about 80+ people looking at the Sun in Ha and white light.
Sunspot AR12371 has a 'beta-gamma-delta' magnetic field that harbors energy for X-class solar flares.
Single shot using a Canon 1000D through a ED80, Lunt 2" wedge, ND1.8, UV/IR and Continuum filters.
Spot count 89 (up a bit and a big spot for the public to see today )
