Even for the aperture that's a great result.Always good when the seeing plays ball.

Amazingly good white light images!
Not sure what happens lately, your earlier (spring) H-a images were more defined. May be your PST etalon works less good
at higher temperatures? My PST etalon, vise versa, works better at high temperatures and much worser at a winter time.
On the other hands, the PST etalon owned by a friend of mine, work excellently at a winter time and now it is almost useless for him !!!

And congratulations with the SPOD!
My friend's one is excellent below 10C and poor at the summer time!
Valery.
Not all PST etalons work better at lower temp. My is better at summer time and poor at the 10C and below.Philippe TOSI wrote: the pst indeed woks better by low température...

Re: High resolution refractor 204mm WL/ H-alpha seeing 6-7
All the PST etalons i've tried have all been different - I guess these 'wide' working windows are the norm with essentially the worlds most effective budget etalon (for modding). My DS40 etalon loves it once the ambient temperature is above 20c, in winter time I struggle with it...Valery wrote:And congratulations with the SPOD!
