Definitely Ken. Is this a curves setting in PS or something more elaborate? It really gives the impression of energetic fire.. Nice job.

Thanks for the thumbs up, I was looking for a color scheme that looked bright and intense. I have spent many hours color mapping narrowband deep sky data. Much of the processing methods I use can cross over to solar image processing.

I also like using the powerful HDR Toning tool in CS5. It combines several tools into one with a huge dynamic range. I have a tutorial on the basics of this tool on my website if you are interested.

I save every step and I will produce a quick tutorial once I have everything together. I still feel that I am trying to find my final workflow.

Regards,

Bill E.

I'd love to use this colorscheme on one of the animations that I am working on.
Do you mind if I try to replicate your fantastic scheme?

Hello Neo,

Just to be clear, anyone can use anything of mine they want, I don't feel I own any colorscheme or processing method. I believe in the free exchange of ideas and information. This is technical art and I feel happiest when someone likes what I have done or I have helped in some small way advance the enjoyment of this hobby. I in turn learn from each of you!

So in short - knock yourself out and have fun! :woohoo:
