Nice filaprom & prominence - 13 March
Just a heads-up for those of you who are starting their day. There is a nice filaprom and prominence on the sun at the moment.
The seeing was terrible and I had to image from gaps between the clouds but the effort was well worth it.

Wow! Beautiful results
I wish I could achieve images like these during bad seeing
...we're going on 3 weeks of boiling air and high clouds :-(
Thx for sharing!

Awesome shots. I caught that filaprom visually with the Lunt 50DS, and was wishing I was set up to image. Looked just like your image in the scope, looping down from both sides onto the solar surface.
