Sol from the 12th and 13th of March 2016.

Post by eroel »

Hi:
Went Friday and Saturday to the rural observatory to keep on working, hope to finish soon.
Just one PC worked, so I took a few images of a nice protuberance, though the seeing was bad (very jumpy), it was hard to focus in a beautiful sunny day with blue sky.
Used a 6" f/12 AP refractor with a Baader 2X Telecentric and a Daystar ATM filter, the camera was the SKYnix 2-2.
Then on Sunday at home, I imaged a few FD's and one with a 102mm Stellarvue with a Baader 4X Telecentric and a Daystar T-scanner, the camera again was the same SKYnix 2-2.
A photo of me at the Orion Observatory.
Thanks for looking,
Eric.

Great prom images Eric

I know wthat you you mean by "only one PC worked". I have the same problem sometimes.

I see a Paramount ME, Losmandy Titan and AP1200 in your rural observatory. Nice setup

Fuerte abrazo

Alexandra and guys:
Thanks for looking.
Pedro, it is not a Titan it is an old HGM-200 Losmandy mount with Gemini drive.
Mark, from left to right, a 10" f/20 TEC Maksutov together with a modified 12" Meade SCT, then a 180mm Takahashi Epsilon f/2.5 with a 12" f/8 RC, last a 6" f/12 AP triplet refractor with a 2.4 Unitron as a guidescope and a 76mm f/6.4 TeleVue refractor with Coronado 40mm stacked filters. The window at my back is from the hot room where the 3 PC´s are. (just one works now)
Best regards to all,
Eric.
