Animations With The Airylab HaT 13th March

When I was imaging on sunday I was shooting files in batches of 10 with the theory that out of each batch of 10 there would be a best one for an image. I decided to process each batch of 10 into an animation which spans a period of 4 minutes. There's nothing particular going on here in terms of oscar winning cinema, but certainly shows there is a lot of dynamism on our star... All with the Airylab HaT at 5600mm focal length and PGR Blackfly GigE IMX249

They show great potential! Even despite seeing the last two are already great (do some more please, and with shorter intervals!).

Thanks! These were from 1000 frame avis, I will definitely reduce this to 500, or maybe even 300 frames when the seeing is better; get increased temporal resolution.

Thanks all! I was really pleased how they come out, at this scale there is always something exciting happening! There may be a few more lurking on the hard drive, I shot a huge amount of data that way. They're really easy and quick to do using ImPPG and actions in Photoshop.

Hi Mark

These videos offer enough fleeting glimpses to show great quality in the optics but they are also very tantalizing. I'm also looking forward to a larger solar instrument (≈250mm) hopefully for this early summer but I don't want to say anything more until all the components are under my roof.

I always record batches of 10 or 5 avis (500 to 1000 images). It is a good starting point with your new setup
