A new beginning ....

Post by DJD »

Dear All,
I am just getting back to some imaging. I have bought a new camera a PGR
Grasshopper3 with the IMX252 chip. First solar light today. Just playing at the
moment. Anyway first results promising.
Grabbed a 200 frame SER on my 80mm F6 frac with a front end SM40 etalon.
Processed 20 frames using ImagesPlus and a touchup in Photoshop.
Best wishes,
David

Thank you all.
I have now entered the realm of lucky imaging - very lucky this time.
All I have to do is get to grips with the nuances of the camera and grow long
arms so that I can focus and peer at the bright laptop screen and control the mount
at the same time :-)
Best wishes,
David

David, that's excellent detail. I am considering the same camera to replace the ASI174; smaller pixels will work for one of my set up's.
