AR2546 in Ha C8 Edge-HD on May 21 and May 16 prominence movi
Dear all,
This is the first light image of my C8 Edge-HD with its 210 mm Energy Rejection Filter and a Daystar Ion 0.3 A. I was blessed with very good seeing :-)
Note the strange kind of bright worm developing in the ombra of the spot :
Back to May 16, with a very nice prominence system :
Here is the corresponding animation over a 90 time span :
http://www.astrosurf.com/viladrich/astr ... -movie.mp4
To display it, you probably have to first download it on your computer, then you can open it with Windows Media Player.
Safari is able to open it directly, but Mozilla Firefox is not.
Best regards
Christian

Very impressive! Are you using one of Frederics ERFs? And the f27 telecentric?

Thanks to all -)
Mark : yes, the ERF and the telecentric come from Frederic (Airy Lab). The ERF was mesured to lambda/10 P-V :-)

I am the most impressed with the prominences time-lapse.
There should be fantastic seeing during long enough time!
Thanks for sharing, Christian.
