'Swirl' Feature of Sunspot Region 1312

Post by davidevans »

A quick test to see if I'm able to upload attachments to my posts...

This is my latest solar photo.

Sunspot region 1312 displaying a very prominent 'swirl' effect.

At this time of year (October to February) I am only able to observe the Sun during Friday afternoons and at weekends. By the time I return home from my office at 4:15pm (Monday to Thursday) the Sun has disappeared behind a row of 60ft high trees that shield the west side of my garden.

I need either a chainsaw or an observatory perched on a very tall tower

David, when you attach a file there is a button to the right that says "Insert"

If you click this the image will be inserted into your message.

If you leave it as an attachment, simply clicking on the attachment will open it in a lightbox which you can use as a hyperlink to display your image in the other "lesser" forums...he he:)
